Hello, I’m Adaure—a Nigerian artist living and working in London, passionate about telling stories through figurative painting. My journey in art began as a child, spending hours sketching my favourite characters and experimenting with colour. Over the years, this passion has grown into a lifelong pursuit.

I am a proud graduate of Central Saint Martins and am currently studying for my BA in Fine Art Painting at Camberwell College of Arts. My creative practice is deeply influenced by my Igbo heritage and the vibrant spirit of my family. Much of my inspiration comes from my mother, whose creative approach to life and love for colour continues to shape my artistic direction.

Through my work, I explore themes of family, identity, and everyday life, weaving together personal experiences and cultural narratives. My goal is to create art that resonates with viewers, sparking reflection and connection.
